May 12th
Question by regionxrodeoqueen: International flight to Germany tips? I will be traveling to Germany on December 28th on a one way flight into Frankfurt. I already have my passport and all of that stuff, but I was wondering if anyone had any actual tips about the flight itself. My friend who is a German native will be picking me up from the airport, and I know enough German to get me from the terminal to him.
A few particulars I was wondering: I am 19, and I know that the drinking age (for beer) is 16 in Germany (18 for hard liquor), More >

In Kerala, what would be the city where I would be arriving – having come from an international flight (or connection) Would that city be right on the sea? or at least be very accessible to coastal towns (within a day’s trip)? My main interest is to go wandering in a coastal area and take photos More >

Question by jk2ambmw: what are some really good travel tips? Does anyone know how to get the best deal on flights? I’ve looked on Priceline and Orbitz and the prices are decent($ 200 one-way, 1 person, 1 stop, 5 hrs. all together) but I was wondering if there was a miracle site I didn’t know about. Oh yeah, we’re in the military.

I want to travel cheaply to countries where I could get by on english, tips?
Apr 7th
Question by Rae: I want to travel cheaply to countries where I could get by on english, tips? I’m a college student, I’m female, and I’d have someone by my side the whole time. I’m willing to live in hostiles, couch surf (if the people have been approved), that sort of thing. I’m a vegetarian, so it’d be nice if I were in a slightly veg-friendly area. I can speak basic Russian. Any tips would be nice, as far as living/packing/eating/getting from place to place. Thanks!
